My sweet, sweet husband and our two wonderful kids have *ocand* [obsessively compulsive about nothing disorder]. Thankfully my ocd balances things out! Everything is scheduled. With Little Miss K. and Master R. off to school I was like a crazy woman trying to everything in order,  knowing how busy we get.  We went to soccer six times between Thursday afternoon and Sunday lunch! The list is L-O-N-G people of things I have want to do for myself and of course for family.  The one thing I have no time for is illness. I'm a caring and compassionate Mummy but  there literally aren't enough hours in the day for high fevers and doctors visits!  Imagine my dismay and utter panic as I watch all of my scheduling fall to pieces when Miss. K arrived home from her second day of school with a 103.5 fever! This COULD NOT BE HAPPENING!!!  We have school,  soccer practice, our first soccer game and soccer photos and errands and proofing and editing and blogging and, well, photographing to do!  All the Holiday sessions - OMG I need to schedule those... please God help me!!! 

Well obviously we made it through and I was so thankful I didn't get what 'they all' got.  I'm sure it was my guardian angel looking out for me (thanks Nanna).  

So I want to take this moment to remind you to say thank-you to your family for being there when a mini meltdown occurs.  I you don't have family or they can't/choose not to be there for you then have a glass of wine, you deserve it my advice is to hang on for the ride and find a good friend to vent with :)  Thanks to all my great friends, I don't know what I'd do without you!

Of course now that we're putting the pieces back together I'm busting to finish my post on this little angel. Little Miss Mackenzie McDa....[or Baby Mac-Mac as I like to think of her] was perfectly behaved during my visit.  I saw this little blossom cry only one time when I was there and I was quick to order Paige & Cory to "stay put" so I can get the shot as proof that she did in fact do it ;)  Congratulations Paige and Cory, it was such an honor to be a part of these precious moments with your family ::

it's a girl!

I'm sure everyone has been wondering why my blog entries have been scarce - alright nonexistent. Life. Yep life has been in the way of me and my blog.  You'd think with all the technology I have at my disposal I'd have more of a presence but nifty gadgets are no match for a three year old boy! Did I say *boy*?  I meant to say *BOY!!!* Of course while I loved [almost] every moment with my sweet baby when he was three I'd be fibbing if I said I wasn't happy to see the Four's. So far they're not even close to the Three's.  I love my baby angel face so much I can hardly stand it!

So I sign in tonight and decide I'm going to spiffy things up for you...two hours later I was begging my computer to just give me back my old blog! Thankfully it obliged and so here we are - the same place I was back in March.  I sooo need to take a class on 'computer stuff'.  Luckily I have something today that I didn't have in March...a brand new, sweet, precious, delightful little baby girl.  Well technically I don't have her - Paige and Cory do, I just have the most adorable photos of her ::

It occurred to me that we should all meet the amazingly talented and very beautiful model turned teacher who's behind so much of the enthusiasm and success of these cool kiddos...Of course I have to give a big pat on the back to our parents too because I know what it takes to keep up with Mrs. H...the bar is HIGH people and I couldn't have hoped or wished for more.  We're so, so blessed to have her.  Woohoo, what a lucky break!

21 Little Bumble Bee's [well 7 actually]

To celebrate the 100th Day of School this class of first graders donned their playground best and brushed their hair to have their very own private session with...BUMBLE

You can't imagine the love these kids have for him. To completely understand the utter 'awesomeness'of these kids you should know they had less than three minutes each in front of the camera! WOW!!!

...Bumble

Oh how lovely it must be to be 'Bumble'.  This highly sought after class mascot has been the topic of many loving conversations in this household! Every Friday he secretly tells the fabulous 'Mrs. H' who he'd like to go home with for the weekend. Katie was terribly offended when the 100th day of school was approaching and he still hadn't picked her thrilled when it was her turn to show him off to anyone who seemed even remotely curious! 

We visited all kinds of places...but I'll get back to that later...I have the next post to work on for now.

Knock, knock.  Anybody home?

Ahhh!  I thought I'd never see this place again!  It's been so long I forgot my password how to sign in!

I've had the most amazing time off!  Full of school & homework, sports, friends, transformers, more school stuff, Ryan trying to beat Katie up, more Transformers and of course I can't forget the words that make me cringe...'me poop - me wipe me bum!' the things most important to the people I love. And lets face it, I couldn't bare to look at my old, dysfunctional camera anymore because of my almost life altering state of camera envy after.  I've fully recovered since scrambling to get the new 5DmkII before the New Year!

I've got so much exciting stuff [including our very own family session courtesy of famed Austin photographer Michelle Nicoloff!] to post that I didn't know where to start!  I had to close my eyes and click...

Picture this....klutzy Baby Ryan in heaven - running down hill with a spear stick on a gravel path...My best Mummy voice screaming [over and over] to STOP!!! He didn't seem to notice though since he was having so much fun! Actually he was curious to see what all the fuss was about!

I'm finally back on-line this afternoon after not being able to access my site for a while! It's perfect timing too because I wanted to show you the oh so cute Jena and Natale!

They were so great during our shoot, we had lots of laughs and it sure does show in the images!

Little Miss Jena is sooo lovely.  She reminded me of Katie as she showed of her maternal nature over her baby sister ;)

All I had to do was flas a big grin and say hi for Baby Natalie to bust out her biggest smiles!  it was so fun!

OMG! the cutest little kids [and baby] ever!  When they arrived they had to wait five minutes or so for the previous session to finnish but it was great because they had a sneak peek of what was to come.  So when it was time for their session to start I asked 'O.K. who's first!' and the two girls almost knocked each other down trying to get their hands the highest ~ 'me!', 'me!' They squealed!  The cutest thing ever was to look up and see their super-smart baby brother perched over on the steps [where I'd been shooting the previous family] all ready for his session with his little arm raised and a smile on his face.  Suddenly he pipes up and yells 'no, me!'  Take a look...
